Neil Edillo, PharmD (pedillo@med.umich.edu)
Neil Edillo is from Troy, Michigan and a proud Wolverine who graduated from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy in June of 2005 with his Doctorate in Pharmacy. Shortly after completing pharmacy school, he pursued and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is currently completing his Pharmacy Informatics and Technology Specialty Residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers. In the future, he sees himself involved in a teaching role. He recognizes that his preceptors have all played a substantial role in molding his career as a pharmacist and feels that his involvement in teaching would be a great way for him to give back to his profession. He further recognizes that he would not be the person he is today without the support of his friends and family and would like to thank them for being a part of his life. When Neil manages to have free time, he enjoys snowboarding, golfing, watching all Detroit sports and Michigan football. GO BLUE!


Jen Ludwig, PharmD (jennludw@med.umich.edu)
Jen Ludwig is a Pharmacy Practice Resident at The University of Michigan Hospitals. She was born and raised in Carroll, Iowa. Jen obtained her PharmD from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Her practice interests include pediatrics, hematology, and oncology. She hopes to practice in her fields of interest as a clinical specialist and possibly complete a second year specialty residency. When not at the hospital, Jen enjoys golfing, running, all forms of basketball, and hanging out with friends and family.


Jim Miller, PharmD (millerjt@med.umich.edu)
Jim Miller is a pharmacy practice resident at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers. He was born in Traverse City, MI and grew up in Battle Creek, MI. He did two years of undergraduate work at the University of Michigan before transferring to the UM College of Pharmacy where he earned his PharmD in 2006. He was also a 4-year member of the Michigan Marching Band during his student years at UM. His practice interests include critical care and bone marrow transplant and he would like to practice in a setting affiliated with a school of pharmacy. In his free time, he likes to jog, go up north to enjoy the outdoors, and watch Michigan football.


Dina A. Mohammad, PharmD (dinam@med.umich.edu)
Dina is the Critical Care Specialty Resident at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers. Having been born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and having earned her PharmD degree from the University of Cincinnati, everyone assumes that she's a huge Ohio State fan. This not true because her heart belongs to the Bearcats. She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Michigan and is excited to complete a second year. Her interests include Transplant and Surgery. She hopes to be a clinical specialist and an adjunct faculty at a larger hospital affiliated with a College of Pharmacy. Her hobbies include spending lots o time with friends and family, traveling, music, and just kicking back and relaxing.


Kristen Reaume, PharmD (kreaume@med.umich.edu)
Kristen Reaume is a Pharmacy Practice Resident at the University of Michigan Hospitals. She was born and raised in Cottam, Ontario and obtained her PharmD from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Her practice interests include cardiology and internal medicine. She hopes to pursue a specialty residency or fellowship in cardiology in order to eventually practice as a clinical specialist and adjunct faculty member at a large institution affiliated with a college of pharmacy. Her hobbies outside of the hospital include just about anything outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.


Valerie San Luis, PharmD (vsanluis@med.umich.edu)
Valerie San Luis is a Pharmacy Practice Resident at the Univeristy of Michigan. She was born and raised in Long Beach, California. In 2002, Valerie received her Bachelor's of Science from the University of California, Berkeley in Nutrition and Toxicology with a minor in Ethnic Studies. She returned to Los Angeles to earn her Pharm.D at the University of Southern California. Her clinical interests include critical care and pediatrics. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, running, reading, and knitting.


Peter Schlickman, PharmD (pschlick@med.umich.edu)
Peter Schlickman, Pharm.D. is a second year specialty resident in the area of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan Hospital and Health Centers. He was born in Dubuque, IA and earned his Pharm.D. from the University of Iowa in 2005. He completed his Pharmacy Practice Residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 2006. His pharmacy interests include adult and pediatric outpatient oncology, inpatient hematology/oncology, nutrition, and bone marrow transplant. When not working at the hospital or on projects at home, he enjoys playing golf, working out, listening to music, traveling, spending time with his co-residents and checking out all that Ann Arbor has to offer.


Dorothy Surowiec, PharmD (dsurowie@med.umich.edu)
Dorothy Surowiec is a second-year Specialty Pharmacy Resident in Infectious Diseases at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers. She was born and raised in New Jersey, obtained her PharmD degree at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, and completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center. She hopes to obtain a clinical position at an academic institution after completing her residency. Her hobbies include music, reading, being outdoors, and hanging out with her family, friends, and dog.


Shawna VanDeKoppel, PharmD (svandeko@med.umich.edu)
Shawna VanDeKoppel is a Pharmacy Practice Resident at the University of Michigan Hospitals. Born and raised on the west of the state of Michigan, she transferred to the east side to complete her bachelor of science degree at the University of Michigan. She also earned her PharmD degree from the University of Michigan. Her educational interests include Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nutrition and Ambulatory Care. She hopes to be a clinical specialist and adjunct faculty at a larger hospital affiliated with a College of Pharmacy. She also enjoys advocating for the profession through involvement in various pharmacy organizations. Her hobbies include spending lots of time with family and friends, rollerblading, going to the beach, and reading.
